So I was quick to write about the things wrong with our camper trailer. I didnt contact the Dealer first.
No sooner did I post I was disappointed In a few things that the Dealer contacted me.
I was impressed! He left me a very nice message assuring me the things would be fixed.
We have been booked for camping and I havent had time to The the trailer in. But wanted to say I was over pleased with this Dealer.
Give them a try you wont be disappointed.

We bought our 5th wheel a year ago and love the Durango. It was a great experience buying it. We recently called Preston to ask about the best hitch to buy since we just bought a new Ford truck and didn't know if we needed a regular hitch or a slide hitch. Preston went above and beyond to help us figure out what kind of hitch would work with our unit. Everyone at Athens has always been extremely friendly and helpful. This was my first RV purchase and Im so glad I chose Athens RV. I had researched rigs for over a year and Im pretty particular when it comes to buying a new toy. I knew what I want, and exactly how I wanted it.
My buying experience was amazing; we climbed on top and underneath the coaches, played with gadgets, and thoroughly inspected every aspect of what KZ has to offer. The Athens sales reps were the most informative salesmen I have ever encountered and they are very proud of the KZ brand. They didnt give me a sales pitch or push me towards something I didnt want and I could not stump them with my assault of detailed questions.
I initially chose Athens because theyre not afraid to show their build invoice from the factory along with the sales price. Couple that with fair and honest service, and this family ran company is a must if youre looking into getting an RV. My Wife Kathy and I drove 752 miles down to Athens, from Lincoln Ne just so we could look at Durango 284 rlt. There was one other one closer in Wisconsin but after talking with Preston over the phone and email many times Kathy and I decided let's drive down and just see what they have. We had purchased a used KZ RV from an individual. On it's first outing we were in a State Park near Athens and happened upon Athens RV. We took our RV there and had some modifications made. We had an issue with one of the modifications and Carlton jumped in and went way above what was needed to fix the issue and inspected our trailer from front to back to make sure we would not have anymore issues. It is so encouraging to know we have honest, dependable people in business in today's times. We live in Plano and are fairly new to RVing, so we spent a lot of time researching RVs and dealerships all around the DFW metroplex. During that time, we came across several dealerships that had good people selling good products at a good price. Ultimately, we chose to purchase from Athens RV Sales. They actually had the best deal from a pricing standpoint, but our decision was purely relational based. Carlton and his crew provided phenomenal pre-sales support that earned our respect, trust, and business.
It has now been several months since our purchase and we are grateful for the fact that we made the right decision. The post-sales support has been even more incredible than the support we received before we purchased. Athens RV Sales has been there for us whether it is a returned call after-hours to answer one of our many "there are no dumb questions" dumb questions, or the "Don't worry about it, I will fix it." when it was a questionable issue that they could have easily said was due to user error.

Took home our custom Riverside Retro 195 today. It tows great and we slept in it in our driveway last night to test it out. We are so pleased with the unit and the service we got at Athens RV. Carlton the owner and Ryan the GM were great in getting us a deal on the trailer and making sure we were happy. We just can't say enough good things about our experience with Athens RV. They came highly recommended by a trusted friend and he did not steer us wrong. Our first visit, we were greeted by Ryan, and he patiently showed us each model that we were interested in and answered our many questions. We were so new that we hardly knew what to ask at first, but Ryan helped us learn so much. We looked around at several other dealerships, but kept coming back to Athens because they had the 5th wheel we had our hearts set on and on our 3rd visit, we sat down to make a deal. We are first time rv,ers and just happened to stop in to look. We have looked at several places in the east Texas area and didn't,t care for what they offered either by price or attitude. The experance here was a pleasure from the very first. Loved the way we just got to look through the rv,s without a sales person following you around. The sales process was a breeze, but what I most like was the after the sale attitude. Everyone from the front office to the parts store were more than helpful. We purchased a used rv and they have stood by it and fixed every little thing we noticed wrong, and went the extra mile and fixed some things we didn't,t even know about. They had it COMPLETATLY set up when we picked it up and showed us how to use everything, and made sure all was in working order. We have purchased 3 fifth wheels from Athens RV since 2007. Even though we have gone to the Dallas RV show thinking we would find a better deal there, Carlton has always managed to have a better product and a KZs 2 year warranty is hard to beat! When it comes time for our next RV, we will check with Athens RV again. - Tom

We bought our Kz Goldrush brand new December 2014. We've been living in it full time and absolutely love it! We've had a couple trailers before and always had problems, but we've had no problems since we've been in this one. (About a year now) We are so happy we chose Athens Rv Sales to purchase our camper! Y'all made everything so easy and we love that y'all do the free 32 point inspection every year. Y'all take care of your customers and inform well when there is a question to be asked.

One day last April, we decided to go look at travel trailers as we sometimes did. We had looked at many dealers in the past. The decision to try Athens turned out to be a good one. Upon arriving, we met Jonnette. Within a very short time we felt like we met a friend wed known for a long time. When we found our 2011 Stoneridge, we immediately fell in love with it. And any reservations we had about making the major purchase went away when we met the staff. We knew we were buying more than a camper. We also were getting a support team for life. An extended family of experts. There was never any pressure and the whole experience was a pleasure. Even the contract. An intense work schedule and surgery have kept us from traveling, but we had to set our new trailer up in our back yard. We enjoyed learning about it over a few cold ones overlooking the lake. - Mark

At the beginning of this year we went to Athens R.V. to purchase a replacement for a broken crank for the antenna on our bumper pull. We ended up purchasing a Crossroads CTX Cruiser. All of the staff (Owner, Sales, Service, Make Ready, etc.) are very friendly and helpful and go above and beyond their duty. They are always accessible if you need to reach them. However, on 8 March 2010 I came out to your facility to purchase a part for our RV. While there I took a quick tour of the RVs that were on your lot. I must tell you that I was initially impressed by your Mr.Bristow, Mr Bruce and Mr. Gage as they were all most helpful in answering any questions that I had, they seemed to want to please, and all three were very professional in all their actions.I was really impressed by these three neat, clean-cut, professional young men. I returned to our home and told my wife that I had seen a nice used RV (that had a slide-out bed) and I would like for her to go with me, to look at this RV and see what her impression might be. When we arrived at your business she met all three of the above men and they immediately instilled confidence. We did a lot of research before deciding on the KZ brand. The TPO vinyl roof instead of EPDM rubber, was the deciding factor for us. We live 140 miles from Athens, but it was well worth the drive for the great deal we got on our new KZ travel trailer. Jonette and everyone else at Athens R.V.
