RENTAL POLICIES
HOURS OF SERVICE
Trailers can be picked up from 12 noon to 3:30pm and must be returned by 11am Monday through Friday UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL PICKUPS, OR RETURNS BE ALLOWED ON SATURDAY, OR SUNDAY.
RENTAL RATES
3-Day Rental - $290.00 (MINIMUM)
Holidays require a 4-Day Rental - $355.00
Full Week (7 nights) - $550.00
Each Additional Day - $65.00
CONVENIENCE PACKAGE
To help ensure a more worry free vacation we at Athens RV Sales offer a special service to you, for an additional $150 we will clean the exterior and interior of the trailer and dump the sewage tanks.
CLEANING
If you choose NOT TO purchase our CONVENIENCE PACKAGE prior to the rental, you will be required to clean the trailer BOTH INSIDE AND OUT, or expect a fee of $75 for the exterior, $70 for the interior and $55 to empty the sewage tanks to be deducted from the security deposit, plus $90 for each additional hour of labor after the first hour. The exterior must be washed with soap and water. The interior must be wiped down, toilet and shower cleaned, and the floors swept and vacuumed. The trailer will be inspected by one of our service technicians before the security deposit is returned.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
In addition to all rental charges a $250.00 security deposit and a $100 reserve deposit by credit card is required at the time of reservation. The deposit will be returned within 2 working days of the time you return your trailer, provided the trailer is returned in the same condition it was when it left our lot. SMOKING IN THE TRAILERS WILL RESULT IN COMPLETE AND FULL FORFEITURE OF YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT. Please note, that a $500 deposit may be required due to a past history of excessive damage.
RENTAL POLICY RESERVATIONS
All reservations are required to be made at a minimum of two weeks in advance, however it is strongly suggested that reservations be made as far in advance as possible. If your plans change and you need to cancel your reservation, then you must notify us at lease 14 days prior to your rental date. If notice of cancellation is not received at least 14 days in advance the $250.00 deposit will be forfeited.
Reservations may be made through our office either by pone using a credit card, or in person.
INSURANCE
You are required to contact your insurance agent to notify them that you will be towing a rented trailer. Any and all claims will need to be filed through your insurance agency. You must also provide a copy of your current insurance card for our records.
PICK UPS AND RETURNS
Trailers can be picked up from 12 noon to 3:30pm and must be returned by 11am Monday through Friday. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL PICKUPS, OR RETURNS BE ALLOWED ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY. Pick ups are by appointment only and you will need to allow approximately one hour for our technician to show you the operations of the trailer you are renting. If you are running late or think you might be late, please call so we can reschedule your appointment. If you arrive late and you have not called, a $50 fee will be added to compensate for our technician’s lost time. Returns are expected by 11am on the scheduled return date. Any returns after that time will be processed the next business day and the extra day rental fee will be added. The security deposit will be returned within two working days to allow our technicians time to thoroughly look over the trailer.
HITCH AND WIRING
Your vehicle must be equipped with a 2-5/16” ball, brake control and 7 way plug. We will install any, or all of these items for an additional fee (fees vary depending on your vehicle).
NOTES AND ADDITIONAL POLICIES
RENTER MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE. There are no pets allowed in the trailer due to cleaning problems. If pet hair, or stains are found in the trailer you will be charged the interior cleaning fee even if you have purchased the convenience package.
Driving while under the influence of alcohol, or drugs Is strictly forbidden and will constitute forfeiture of all your security deposit.
Renter is responsible for any and all damages to the trailer due to negligence, or carelessness, intentional or not.
If it is necessary to have repairs made during your trip receipts and old parts must be returned to us for reimbursement. If repairs involve more than $50, you must have prior approval for repairs, before reimbursement will be made.
Athens RV Sales cannot be held responsible for any additional days of rental incurred due to acts of nature, road closures, or any other delays beyond the control of Athens RV Sales, All costs are solely at the expense of the renter.
Trailers are not allowed to leave the United States of America.
TRAVEL TRAILER RENTAL
INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
It agreed and understood that the Trailer Rental Agreement is amended as follows:
INSURANCE PROTECTION:
Lessee shall indemnify and hold harmless Leaser from any and all claims, costs and damages to the rental vehicle and related equipment, including any loss of use by Leaser of the vehicle, arising from the operation, maintenance and use of the vehicle during the term of this lease.

Lessee represents to Leaser, (1) that Lessee shall provide, at Lessee’s expense compulsory liability insurance covering the tow vehicle and rental trailer, and (2) that Lessee shall indemnity and hold harmless Leaser from any and all third party claims arising from the operation, maintenance and use of the rental trailer during the term of this lease, and (3) by Lessee’s initials does hereby acknowledge that Leaser does not provide any liability insurance covering the rental trailer or Lessee’s operation, maintenance and use of the same.
