Many customers who finance their RV’s prefer to do so through our dealership because of the attractive terms.  On many RV loans, Athens RV Sales can offer long-term financing through our national RV lenders.  RV loans of $10,000 and above qualify for a minimum length of 10 or 12 years.  Depending on the loan amount we can finance up to 240 months.  This longer term financing often helps you establish a payment that fits within your budget.   

v  Low Down Payments

Loan terms are based on a composition of your credit information and the RV being purchased.  RV lenders offer zero down incentives to borrowers with higher credit ratings.  Depending on your credit profile, a down payment of 10% may be required.

Customers who pay cash for everything may be doing themselves a disservice.  Two keys to a person’s financial well being are good health (the ability to earn money) and good credit (the ability to get money).  Cash Buyers who have not borrowed money for some time should consider renewing their credit worthiness.

MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN COVERAGE

 

Most people own their recreational vehicles far beyond the terms of the factory warranty.  You can extend the length of your coverage for mechanical breakdown repairs beyond the manufacturer’s warranty with the Protective XtraRide service agreement.  You can also increase the resale value on your travel trailer or fifth wheel since the agreement is easily transferable. 

 

We offer the Protective XtraRide Platinum Coverage.  This coverage provides for the cost of parts and labor of standard components, optional packages and more.  Also included in this program are additional benefits such as towing, emergency travel expenses and 24 hours road side assistance which are effective when the manufacturer’s warranty is still in force.

ROAD HAZARD PROTECTION

 

Tire Guard’s road hazard protection provides peace of mind where the rubber hits the road.  Tire Guard covers the RV tires and wheels in the event of a road hazard.  Road Hazards are conditions of a highway or roadway that should not exist, such as potholes, glass, nails, and other objects or conditions, which puncture or render a tire unserviceable or a fail to hold air. 

 

Tire Guard has been in business over 20 years and is the original provider of road hazard coverage for the RV industry.  They are fully insured, have an excellent reputation in the industry, and are endorsed by the RV Dealers Association. 

 

 

CREDIT LIFE AND DISABILITY INSURANCE

 

Credit Insurance is a “payment protection plan” designed to insure that a loan will be paid if something happens to you (sickness, injury or death).  Payments made by the policy never have to be repaid. 

 

Credit life insurance will pay the loan balance, either in full or up to the policy maximum, in the event of your death.  Credit life insurance provides you the comfort of knowing you’ve protected the people you leave behind.  This coverage may be purchased with a single or joint premium policy. 

 

Credit disability insurance makes the monthly loan payment (up to the policy maximum) if you become under a doctor’s care and unable to work for 14 days or more.  Credit disability insurance protects you from credit and financial problems by making your payment until you are able to return to work. 

 

Either of these insurance programs can easily be incorporated into your vehicle’s monthly payment when you finance your RV through Athens RV Sales. Coverage is effective immediately and no medical exam is required.
